Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part III

The benches in this section were a little further from the bonfire than the others. If people were sensible, they might want to keep all their clothes on over here, but Fandom, of course, has never been graced with an overabundance of sensible people.

"Military academy," she answered, easily. It was true, and it skipped the messier bits. "Drunk guys aren't really that hard to take down, hand-to-hand, even if you are this short."

Damon laughed. "That's true. You don't look like the typical military academy student but I'm going to go ahead and take your word for it. I know plenty of girls who could take me down."

Granted, most of them were vampires but still.
