The benches in this section were a little further from the bonfire than the others. If people were sensible, they might want to keep all their clothes on over here, but Fandom, of course, has never been graced with an overabundance of sensible people.

"No," Jaime sighed again as he walked over, shivering slightly, to get a look at the pictures. "Somehow I let my roommate talk me into this."

"Who is your roommate? I should thank them."

Jaime wanted to facepalm, but managed not to. "Didi. Pale girl, dark hair." He grinned slightly at that. Because today it wasn't dark.

"Ooooh," Ino barely kept herself from saying 'oh, the Death girl' because that's what she remembered from the one conversation they'd had. "And why are you grinning, hm?"

"Well, I suspect I got the raw end of the deal, but I'm wearing a kilt and she's got blond hair."

Which, actually, meant that Jaime had one more highly troublesome blond in his life. For the day, at least.

"Blondes are awesome," she informed him. "And you totally got the raw end of it. Nice legs."

Yeah, she didn't manage to keep a straight face at that.

"Thanks," Jaime tried to sound amused rather than embarrassed. He didn't do such a good job. Because his legs were, well, skinny. And trembling with the cold.

"Did you want to go stand closer to the fire?" Ino asked, reaching out to try and tug him that way. "It'll be better for your health too."

"I suppose that's probably a good idea," Jaime agreed as he let himself be dragged along.

"Oh, hey, it's that lying thing again!" Jaime accused with a laugh.

"...no matter what you call it," she said, "it's still a skirt."

"You look better in pants," she continued, "but really, if you had to, it's not as bad as it could be. You could be wearing lycra."

"You wouldn't do that." And yet, for some unrelated reason he was tugging his hand free and backing away.
