"So it's time for your exams," Mitchell announced, slumped back on a couch in the back of the room. "It's fairly simple, really. Pick up that pen and that paper, pick a country, and write about what you found interesting or horrifying or even good about their approach to the media during one of these wars." He beamed at the class. "Then write down what you learned from it. If you want extra credit, give me a bit on your favorite war movie." Beat. "...As long as it's not Red Bird Down. Travesties they're spitting out in cinema these days."

"Well, I'm thinking about running a class on horror film," he said, thoughtfully. "You might have to run to me to calm your nerves."

"A decent enough excuse, although kind of on the unlikely side," Kate said after pursing her lips for a second or two. "Horror movie class would balance Weird Teacher Guy's fluffy romance thing nicely."

And maybe if she took that particular class, she'd actually catch Drake's name at some point.

"I'm not Weird Teacher Guy?" Mitchell asked, fluttering his eyelids. "I'm not sure whether to be flattered or disappointed."
