Swordplay - 3rd Period - 11/19

Deadpool had a little movie clip all set up for the class this morning before they were allowed to play smack each other around with swords. "I hope you all had a very informative and bitchy time last week while I was a dingo. Props to anyone who gave me food. And a very disappointed shake of the head toward those who didn't. For shame."

Seriously, what better time to suck up?

"So, today we'll be lookin' into usin' two swords at the same time. Not that most of you have the coordination or anything, but you can pretend to with the practice swords so I can be pretty sure you won't cut off a limb. I mean, Christ kids. Do you have any idea how messy that is? Blood everywhere! And people tend to throw up and it's just not pretty. So, check out this poor quality, mostly unbelievable example of the skill."

A beat.

"Heh, you can see the wirework. Oh, I love it when they leak this shit on the internet before it's time."

Deadpool pointed at her for that. "You stay away from the X-23 wannabe. I'll have no naughty hentai in my class, thanks."

Illyria frowned and experimentally twirled her swords in the manner shown in the film rather than the larger sweeps she'd have made if she actually had tentacles anymore. "What is 'hentai' and why would I care about it?"

"Look it up on the internet. I'm sure there's a computer in the library you could use for that."

Somewhere, Door snickered and urged Illyria to annoy him until he not only explained it to her, but gave her free porn just to get her to shut up. Sadly, Illyria's hearing, while good, didn't extend to other dimensions - at least not anymore - so she simply narrowed her eyes and answered, "Very well."

Then muttered, "Tentacles are still better," as she twirled the swords again.
