Sex Ed [Monday, Period Five]

Today the lights in the classroom were dimmed and a television was set up at the front of class.

"Good afternoon, class," Bond began as the class finished entering. "Now, this afternoon we'll be watching a film about how being anything other than completely and utterly heterosexual can have a negative effect on a person in the everyday workplace, and while I doubt that any of you would engage in discriminatory behaviour, I hope you will all take something from it."

Momoko wondered how this movie had anything to do with discrimina... whoa.

Was it okay that she was beginning to not be as upset about all of this... stuff? Because she kind of liked the movie. It really was kind of romantic.

It might be because she missed the last couple of classes but... Azula didn't know what discrimination had to do with this film. Azula admitted the villain had style but was essentially confused about the point of the film.

"Professor," Azula addressed with a curt nod. She didn't miss this class at all but duty obliged her to report to Bond.

Bond nodded. "I have several Mr Reese," he said. "What seems ot be the problem."

"Miss Azula," Bond replied with a nod.

"Bobby's not here. I don't know if he left you a message. He left me one and it sounded pretty urgent, like he had to leave really fast. He wouldn't miss class if it wasn't important." Point was, he didn't want his friend getting into trouble, and if he sounded a little worried, it was because he was.

Another nod. "I see," he said. "I'll remember to mark him down as an approved absence."

Kyle nodded back in thanks. "I'm sure he'll come see you if he comes back." Yeah, that was an if. Concerning. "This doesn't have anything to do with Bobby, but is it still okay if I ask you questions about what the class doesn't cover?"

"Of course, my door is always open." Even if he wasn't actually in the office as much as he could be.

"What day?"

"I apologize for my absences," she said, not at all sorry for being absent in this class. "I was called back home."

"Friday?"

"I understand, some absences are unavoidable," Bond said. "I'm sure you'll be able to get caught up on the classes you've missed from your classmates."

He wasn't giving her a small rainforest's worth of missed handouts, didn't she feel lucky?

Oh, she did. As long as there's no handouts on this subjects Azula was prepared to pay homage to the spirits.

"Thank you for understanding," Azula said with another nod. "Until next class, professor."

Bond smiled. "I'll see you next class, then."
