[OOC: I am an idiot, and apologise profusely. I forgot to give out the homework for next week's class. Have updated the original post to reflect this, but am reposting here for those who have already finished their class interaction.]

"Following on from today's discussion, the debate topic next week will be this: 'Murder is never acceptable, regardless of the circumstance'. If you'd like to debate this topic, please volunteer below. I will assign people arbitrarily to affirmative and negative, and you will be expected to meet with your team over the course of the week to determine your argument. Opposition, please remember that the Affirmative defines the topic, and therefore what constitutes murder, and prepare your arguments accordingly. If I don't get enough volunteers, I will volunteer people."
