And that was that, then. No more Halloween decorations, no more eerie sounds playing in the background. No more plotting tricks to take the place of treats in Jonothon's absence of a lower jaw.
And reading to do, for class, because he had been entirely out of sorts on Monday and he had to read up on Buddhism to make up for the utter daze he'd been during Lady Ghanima's lecture.
At least he was in the proper place for it.

... Figuring out how to work menus on DVDs had been a triumph in its own right. Jono was quite content with his little victories over the new and shiny inventions of the last decade and a half.
