Today the Danger Shop was a vast landscape of untarnished meadow with a few bales of hay set up for seating and a giant screen hanging near where the teacher stood, looking very out of place in the rustic setting. "This week you're all pioneers. We'll be watching the Hallmark classic Feelings Build Slowly and then you're all gonna dig large pits in the ground."

Someone should really save Ronon from the cable box. He would blame Lindsay forever for letting him watch not one, not two, but three of these movies. In her defense, there had been alcohol involved and an avoidance of certain returning students.

Anyhow, Ronon took his time showing them the shovels and markings on the ground labeling the dimensions of the ~~graves~~ holes they were in charge of digging before he pointed them all to the locker rooms for a quick change prior to the movie starting. "Feel free to work while you watch, or just lay back and take it all in."

A kinder professor would warn the students that while these movies were cheesy, corny, and attempted to beat religion into you, the story was engrossing and had the power to suck them in. And the chick was hot, too.

Okay, Mirax had nothing but staring when she heard there was hole-digging. That was all.

Hannibal didn't mind the hole digging. What he did mind was knowing that someone as rough and tumble as Professor Dex could fall prey to cheesy girly movies.

Was there no hope for him?

Beka was having trouble concentrating, which may have had all to do with a certain descendant in the class ~~or the lack thereof~~.

Teeny shorts, tanks, and tall socks await in the locker room for all!

So not only were the uniforms horrible, but today they would get to get sweaty digging a pit. Maybe the uniforms would get so bad they couldn't be worn again, but Mirax figured that would never happen.

Aaaaaaand of course, they had to dig freaking holes in these gross things. Hannibal muttered curses while he changed.

Sort of resigned to the ugly uniforms by now, Chuck figured he was just destined to look like a huge dork every week until the end of term. Just how it was going to be.

Didn't stop the sighs as he looked down at himself in them.

She'd rather not have to scrub the dirt off her clothes later, so Beka changed without complaint.

Witness the burgeoning love between the pregnant pioneer widow and the sad pioneer widower with a young, manly daughter. To her horror, Mirax found herself actually watching the movie. Maybe if she got into it, it would be more acceptable that her ~~grave~~ pit was pathetic.

Well, this was... kind of creepy. It was the coffin size holes that really did it.

Chuck was half-heartedly digging, and trying not to get sucked in by the movie. Trying so hard.

Hannibal was pretty sure his soul was dying while he was watching this movie. The whole digging was fine, it was exercise but he couldn't take the gooey mushy gushy mess of this movie.

Robin and his wee tiny shovel were hard at work. Digging what appeared to be a gopher hole.

Beka grabbed a shovel, instantly starting to dig. She wasn't going to think of the last time she'd had to dig. The hole was going to end up being rather deep and her arms would be cramping if she'd not slow down. Which she wasn't.

Is paying rapt attention to the movie. No, those are not tears forming in his eyes.

Don't judge me, these movies are addictive!

SHUT IT, THESE ARE NOT THE ONES I WAS WATCHING LAST NIGHT...though I have marathoned in the past.
