Sam had enjoyed his break, but he didn't mind being back in the library, surrounded by some of his favorite things. The Halloween decorations made him realize how close the holiday was, and he found himself hoping that nothing too strange happened this year. He could definitely handle a normal, boring holiday for once.

Sam went about his usual morning duties, and then planted himself in front of the computer, staring at the library's catalog screen. He'd promised Dean that he'd check to see if these books that Castiel had been reading were in the library, but now that he was here, he was having trouble bringing himself to actually do the search. It was too weird to think about, the idea of there being books about them, especially considering how much effort they'd put into keeping a low profile in the past. Maybe he could tell Dean that the computers hadn't been working, and he couldn't find anything at all.
