George had pulled out a big book full of hockey statistics and pictures.

He was looking way more at the pictures, yeah, but he had managed to discover that the lines on the ice weren't just to coordinate with the uniforms.  He'd have to tell Sookie.

"No," she frowned at him. "I'd not know how to use it."

"Then what does it matter if yer carryin' it or not?"

"You're not making any sense," she decided, having no idea what he was going on about.

"You jus' don' know what I'm talkin' about," he said airily.

"No, I don't," she agreed. "You're not really explaining either."

"Ye should be askin' someone who knows about computers," George told her.

She wrinkled her nose at him. He wasn't very helpful. "Do you have large maps too?"

He was so helpful! "What kind d'you mean?" he asked.

"From this world," she said. "I want to see where London is and everything else."

"What's London?" George asked, grabbing her sleeve to tug her over towards the big rack of atlases.

"Tis a bigger city than this one," she said as she let him tug her along. At least, she assumed it was. "Jonothon's from there. It sounds more like Corus than this place is."

"This ain't a city," George said disdainfully.

"No, but it might have been for this world," she reasoned. She'd no idea how large cities here were.

"Haven't ye watched any of th' teevee?" George asked. "Their cities look - bigger 'en Corus even."

So he'd never been outside of Corus. Shh.

"I've not," she shrugged a shoulder. "Tis looby to watch people on a tiny canvas while there's plenty here to talk to."

He shrugged. "Not if ye want t'learn a bit more about th'world here."

"I thought the television was to entertain?" she asked, thinking of the music she'd seen and the cooking program.

"Aye, I think so mostly," he said. "But they've sommat about th' world and th' news here too."

"I'll have to look at it again then," she conceded and she grabbed one of the Atlases from the shelves, leafing through them.

He pulled out one of the racks that had a world map displayed. "We're here, I think," he said, pointing just off the coast of Virginia.

Her eyes widened as she looked at the map. "This world is big," she realized.

"Tis," George agreed. "An' there's cities all over it."

"No wonder they need those airplanes to get about," she realized. If the spot was where they were, than London'd be on the other side of the ocean.

"Would take a long time for a boat," he agreed, tracing his fingers over the oceamn.

"Months' what Jonothon said," Beka nodded and she found the dot that was London. "I'd try to avoid it too, though flying..." She wasn't certain if she wanted to do that.
