Welcome back to Cyborg Theory.

Last week’s class was very successful as you all tried to work out the warning signs of the true identity of a human-form robot.

Today, you have all been informed that Anakin, Kawalsky, Cally, Lee and Aeryn are human-form robots. What are your varying reactions to this news? How would you react to discover that your close friend, acquaintance, classmate and/or that person over there, omg, was not, in fact, human?

I have places for you to comment with your general reactions, if you have any, and specific reactions.

And for the faux-robots in the class, what would be your reaction to (a) discovering that people know, (b) the reactions of your loved ones to this news.

Please show me both your first knee-jerk reaction and a more thoughtful analysis.

"I'll bring it all up at tomorrow's meeting," Angelus promised. "Did you have anything you wanted to say to the gang? I can put it on the schedule."

"Sure, I can think of something," she eyes him with a smile.

"Always happy to hear from you," Angelus said. "You know you are one of my favorite members of the staff. And not just because you helped an 18th century boy like me understand how to work the computers."

"I like to see a boy with talent succeed."

"I feel loved and encouraged," Angelus replied. "What about you, doc? Anything I can do to make your day brighter, happier, filled with glee?"

"Oh, my day has been rather shinier now that we've had this conversation," she says.

"I live to serve," Angelus gave her a wink that wasn't unflirtatious. "Glad we had this talk, doc. My own night's happier because of it."

"You flatter me," she says with an equally unflirtatious wink. "Let me know if you need anything, Angelus."

"Will do, doc," Angelus headed towards the door. "Thanks for making time for me."

"Anytime, sugah."
