Welcome back to Cyborg Theory.

Last week’s class was very successful as you all tried to work out the warning signs of the true identity of a human-form robot.

Today, you have all been informed that Anakin, Kawalsky, Cally, Lee and Aeryn are human-form robots. What are your varying reactions to this news? How would you react to discover that your close friend, acquaintance, classmate and/or that person over there, omg, was not, in fact, human?

I have places for you to comment with your general reactions, if you have any, and specific reactions.

And for the faux-robots in the class, what would be your reaction to (a) discovering that people know, (b) the reactions of your loved ones to this news.

Please show me both your first knee-jerk reaction and a more thoughtful analysis.

//Also, remember that your papers on this exercise are due on Wednesday. I will get them back to you and your grade for the class so far next Monday.//

Anakin ~~pouted~~ glared. "It wasn't suppposed to be for everyone to hear. Stupid rabbit. Stupid pirate." He kicked the desk leg. "Stupid everything."

He looked at Beka. "You didn't buy a CD, did you?"

::snickers, and whispers quietly::

Some of us bought two

Anakin began thunking his head on his desk. "I'm never leaving my room again."

Hey, it isn't that bad.

Personally, I think it's kinda cute.

Anakin turned his head. "I don't do cute." He shrugged. "Hopefully someone else will do something stupid today and everyone will forget about this. Thanks for trying to make me feel better about it, though."

Well, at the rate things go around here, someone is bound to.

Besides, you should go get Barbossa to give you your cut of the profits. Or atleast a bottle of rum. ::smiles::

"I could certainly use the rum," Anakin muttered. "I've been meaning to have a conversation with the Pirate about this whole mess anyway."

Yeah, he's probably the one to bother about it.

Besides, coulda been worse. It coulda been on video. ::laugh::

Anakin covered his head with his hands and groaned. "I hadn't even thought of that."

"CD?" Beka deadpanned, but couldn't hold the face. "Actually, I bought two. Figured they'd be good for trade out there." She waved vaguely toward the sky.

"You're going to export them to other planets?" Anakin's voice came out a lot closer to a squeak than he'd prefer. "Blast, I'm never going to live this down. Ten years from now I'll be out in the Outer Rim and someone'll be playing Little Bunny Foo Foo."

"Not your universe. Besides, I only bought two copies...rarity value." She arched an eyebrow. "If you become a sensation, we can make copies and I'll share the royalties. Could buy a lot of light sabers..."

"But you said it sounded awful." Anakin tried not to sound petulant. "And I'm not allowed to make money--part of the whole Jedi deal." He thought about it for a little longer. "If you do sell them, and they do make money, I want half the profits--they'll go to, I don't know, the Galactic Senate Refugee Relief Committee."

He dropped his head back on to his desk.

"Aesthetics are in the eye, er, ear of the listener. It was funny, and we're deathly short on comedy." Beka gave him a hopeful grin and forced herself not to pat emo-Anakin's head.

"Want me to see if the pirate has anymore? I could buy them up. Half proceeds to me, for taking the risk. One-quarter to pay for your work on the Maru in tunics, light sabers, whatever. And one quarter for... ~~Pink Bunny~~ ~~Vampire Puppy~~ ~~Ewok~~ ~~Wookie~~ Galactic Senate Refugee Relief?"

"As long as they're not on this planet or anywhere Obi-Wan can hear about then, fine," Anakin said, waving his hand.
