"Congratulations, by all reports everyone survived the weekend," Aeryn greeted the class. "Luckily for everyone nothing strange rained down from the sky or invaded. I want to take a moment to talk about whether your relatives or friends had any trouble adjusting, and whether you had difficulties explaining anything to them."

Once the discussion was over- and yes, Aeryn found it strange that her class ever had anything to do with talking- she continued, "One of the things you've undoubtedly found is that sometimes you need to release stress and frustration. This is something you've probably discovered in the course of your lives, not just here. If you haven't, I envy you. There are a lot of methods for dealing with it that are either bad, or frowned upon, such as drinking your sorrows away, or killing people, so... don't do them." The last part she didn't so much agree with, but. "Instead, we're going to focus on a healthy physical release. I present to you the foam bat. You can hit people, walls, yourself, it doesn't matter, it won't hurt them. That's what you get to do today. Just leave the padding on, I do not want to send anyone to the clinic."

How'd your visitors fare?

Raven hadn't had friends or family (thankfully) visiting Fandom that weekend, just the strange young man who tried to take her from the island, and she wasn't exactly sure she wanted to get into that in class. So she remained quiet and just listened to the others.

Illyria considered how best to phrase it for about 0.2 seconds. "I believe my...guardian... has reached a state of complete invincibility to surprise. He was untroubled by anything but me, and that is nothing new."

"Naught at all surprised him?" Beka asked. That was impressive.

That required more than .23 seconds of consideration. "I believe he may have been mildly taken aback to learn that I've not yet grievously injured anyone here."

It required Beka a full three seconds to realize how serious Illyria looked. "In a good way?" Which looking back at it, could be taken in several ways.

"I believe he was as close to pleased as he's capable of reaching."

"Tis always good to not have to get lectured," Beka said, wondering why this conversation felt absurd.

"He sounds very... amiable," Worf noted.

"I believe the correct descriptor would be 'intoxicated.'"

"Ah. Inebriation," Worf said with a nod. "That would explain any lack of reaction to the... oddities of this island."

"Magic and creatures of magic exist in his world; even without dulling his mind, it would not be entirely unfamiliar."

"Ah. Yes. Magic," Worf replied with obvious distaste. "I understand his need for real alcohol."

"She went home, thank the Light," Mat said, rolling his eyes. "And if you talked to a short girl named Egwene, none of the stories she was telling about me were true."

"What did she say?" Raven asked. Kissing Mat on the roof was one of her few recent good memories, so that was enough to break her silence.

"Knowing Egwene, it would have included the terms woolheaded, lecherous, trouble, and don't," Mat replied, making a face.

"Why did she come to visit you if she does not like you?" Raven asked.

"Burn me if I know," Mat replied. "I didn't think anyone knew where I was."

"Perhaps she cares more than she is willing to admit if she sought you out," Raven said.

At least she wasn't alone in having an uninvited guest show up.

"Maybe she missed bossing me around and stopping me from having any fun," Mat replied.

Which was Mat for "probably, yes."

"I am sorry your visit was unpleasant," Raven said. "But at least it is over now, and you are free to be yourself."

"And you're still speaking to me, so things are looking up," Mat said, winking.

"He was fine but I'd prefer if he hadn't visited," Azula said.

"They partied and we all learned an important life lesson," Yakko said.

"I had no visitors," Worf said crossing his arms. "And I am fine with that."
