Sarah sits on the floor of the study hall, playing with a bunch of black lab puppies.

No, really.

And no, she's not teaching them how to kill. Although she is making them sniff a toaster and then sniff everybody who comes into the room.

Today is obviously not a low-paranoia day for her.

"He ate in the cafeteria. Now he's singing."

She twists a piece of hair. "I don't know WHY he still eats there."

Pulls out sign and points to it.

"They had Ham and Cheese sandwiches! Couldn't resist."

Angela grabs a sharpie from her bag and underlines the word "resist."

"I'm sorry -- I mean, I am really happy that you're back. Which you know. Just ... this wasn't how I expected to be serenaded."

Marty writes under it.

"Sorry. How do you want to be serenaded?"

Angela gives him a mischevous smile.

"I would say Peter Gabriel and a boom box, but Gordon kind of stole that. Um ... not-Abba would be good."

Marty smirks at Angela and you can probably tell by the gleam in his eyes that he's scheming something.

"I'm not sure I should trust that look in your eye," Angela says, though it's clear she's curious what he'll come up with.

Marty places his hand over his heart and puts an innocent expression on his face.

He holds up a card that says "Who? Me?"

A slow smirk creeps across Angela's face. "I'll trust you when we can talk without ABBA lyrics."

She bites her lip. "So, like, what would you sing if I kissed you?"

"Won't know until you do."

Marty gives Angela a hopeful look.

"My boyfriend, the science experiment jukebox ..."

Angela leans in for a very long kiss. Hey, she has missed him...

"Considering he has a pet that came from there, I don't know either," Rory replies wryly.

"He brought a cat back from Chicago, too," Angela says in the same tone. "Camilla was really happy about that."

"A cat and a chicken? Wow. I bet Camilla and the kitty are best buds now, huh? Because cats and birds are always like this," she adds, holding up crossed fingers.

"Camilla stormed out of the room, and I get to take on the cat." Angela tucks her hair behind her ear. "I mean, it's cute, though."

"Camilla stormed out," Rory asks in disbelief. "Chickens can do that? And yay, you got a cat! What's its name?"

Angela shakes her head. "I know! I wouldn't have beleived it except I saw her do it."

"The cat doesn't have a name yet. He never gave it one, so I get to think something up." Angela muses, balancing a pen on her lip. "My cat at home is called Shadow, but..."

"Hmm," Rory hums, considering. "What's it look like? Any markings that might add to a name?"

"It's kind of a brown-and-gray tabby with a white belly. Very cute. Not all that friendly, though."

[OOC: Yes, that is my real cat. Her real name is Cori, though I probably won't use it in-game. And she really can jump on top of the fridge.]

"Hmm...cute, and unfriendly. Well, there are a ton of, y'know, classical characters like that. You could name it Loki, for instance. Norse god of mischief."
