Study Hall - Monday, October 17th

Sarah sits on the floor of the study hall, playing with a bunch of black lab puppies.

No, really.

And no, she's not teaching them how to kill. Although she is making them sniff a toaster and then sniff everybody who comes into the room.

Today is obviously not a low-paranoia day for her.

Angela shakes her head. "I know! I wouldn't have beleived it except I saw her do it."

"The cat doesn't have a name yet. He never gave it one, so I get to think something up." Angela muses, balancing a pen on her lip. "My cat at home is called Shadow, but..."

"Hmm," Rory hums, considering. "What's it look like? Any markings that might add to a name?"

"It's kind of a brown-and-gray tabby with a white belly. Very cute. Not all that friendly, though."

[OOC: Yes, that is my real cat. Her real name is Cori, though I probably won't use it in-game. And she really can jump on top of the fridge.]

"Hmm...cute, and unfriendly. Well, there are a ton of, y'know, classical characters like that. You could name it Loki, for instance. Norse god of mischief."

"Loki," Angela says, trying it on her tongue. "Hmmm ... do you know what Kali is the goddess of? I mean, in Hinduism? But that might get confusing with the Cally on our hall."

Struck by a thought, Angela wanders over to the bookshelves and retrieves a book on mythology. She pages through it, looking at goddes names.
