Alpha Beta Gremlin meeting; Wednesday [ 09/23 ].

There were benefits to having been here a long time, and one of those benefits was an utter lack of surprise to wake up and find yourself looking a little different and with all the wrong parts. In fact, Turtle considered herself such an erudite Fandomite that she, upon waking and finding herself a cute floppy haired boy again, found that the timing was excellent, as this would make for an interesting spin on the Alpha Beta Gremlin meeting.

Assuming enough of the girls weren't too busy freaking out, anyway.

"Hey, guys," she said, letting the obvious irony lace the the word. "Hopefully, by this late in the day, you've realized that we're not quite ourselves. This makes a meeting on sisterhood kind of ironic. So, instead of using the meeting today for sisterly business, I thought we'd take the opportunity to embrace our current forms and take a peek into fraternity life, instead. So I've got pizza, root beer,"--it was a school club, guys, "--Cheetos, footballs, some sports game on the TiVo. I encourage you to belch, scratch, and talk about...I don't know, girls or something. Basically, today, we're just going to be men, so that we can better appreciate how much better it is being women."

This... yeah fit right in with what she'd seen of Hannibal's frat preparations. A lot more comfortable with this whole thing than she had been when she woke up this morning, Angela was mingling and eating.

Were boys always this hungry? Really?

Being a boy seemed to give Ellie a bigger appetite, so she was very much okay with eating a few slices of pizza. And she would definitely have more appreciation for Cheetos now.

...Fiona couldn't eat but she could be sociable. After all, it could have been worse. She could have woken up looking like Eliot, which would have broken her brain rather hard.

Valentine had considered not saying anything, but, in the end, she really couldn't help herself.

"Okay," she said with a grin, "who are you and why do you look like my older brother?"

That got a blink.

"Fiona. Fiona Post?"

She felt hungry, yes. More so than usual but Azula only stuck to the pizza.

She wasn't used to the T-shirt and fidgeted constantly. Although, she did like what it says on her shirt: 'Too Hot to Handle'.

Because it was so very true.

"I like your shirt!" Hayley said, giggling. Man-like. Really.

Azula glanced down, then up again. "I like it too."

"You make an interesting boy," Hayley said. "Though I think you look better as a girl."

Mingling would be a heck of a lot easier if Joan could figure out who was who. But she was there and completely amused that Turtle had taken advantage of random genderswapping for today's activities.

Ino was picking the pepperoni off her pizza and eating it first and totally totally sulking.

What kind of birthday day was this? So unfair.

Leave it to Valentine to contemplate how the color of a Cheeto didn't seem to resemble any color found in nature at all, even while a boy.

But they were tasty, so she was eating them all the same.

Maron wondered if her roommate was ever going to figure out what healthy eating really meant.

Not that it stopped her from nibbling on a few Cheetos after cheer practice.

That part of today's activities, Francine had no problem with, aside from wondering whether, if she gave into her hunger now, her hips would pay for it when she was a girl again.

She wondered while scarfing pizza, of course.

Hayley wasn't all that hungry.

Cheetos, however, proved a strange and interesting new discovery.

"They turn your fingers orange!"

Cordelia took a little bit of the food and looked around.

"Am I the only girl left in the school?"

"Pretty much," Layla said tossing a cheeto in the air and catching it in his mouth. "Look on the bright side. Today you have no female competition."

Re: Eat and Mingle -- 09/23.

[identity profile] formermayqueen.livejournal.com 2009-09-23 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Cordelia slowly peeled a piece of pepperoni off the slice of pizza and shrugged.

"Competition is what makes things fun, though. It's rather boring if you don't have to work for the attention, sometimes."

"True," Layla said. "But there's nothing wrong with taking advantage of a certain situation while other's are handicapped. After all... tomorrow everyone is back to normal."

Azula scowled when she saw Cordelia, "How did you escape from turning male?"

"I have absolutely no idea, but I'm not going to complain," Cordelia replied.

"Lucky," she said almost grudgingly. She used to be lucky.

Morgana was glad that she wasn't the only one who seemed to be hungrier. She supposed that was as good a reason as any to eat new foods.
