Physical Films | Period 3 | Class 2

It seemed some professor had thought this whole fake holiday thing stretched into him not needing to teach a class. When someone had pointed it out to him that no, he didn't get to stay home and marathon Dirty Jobs, Ronon had growled and complained and found something else that was marathoning to use as inspiration.

And so it came to be that the students entered a Danger Shop designed as a replica of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. There were, as always, doors near the entrance to the Danger Shop that led to the locker room where students would change into their uniforms for their event.

"Today's supposed to be a holiday, but the school doesn't seem to get that, so we're all stuck here. Goal for today is to get out as fast as possible. Training is something all of you should be doing, and in the movie Rocky the guy runs up the steps of this museum as part of his routine. Today, you're running up those same steps pumping your arms in the air like a tool. There's seventy-two steps if you wanna keep count." Ronon had counted just so there would be no surprises. "See how fast you can do it, race someone, it's up to you. But first, let's see this Italian Stallion guy do it."

A screen appeared behind the group and started playing the all-important if poor quality training scene for reference.

Yeah, this was not fun. Nevertheless, Hannibal got himself together and took off like a shot, determined to get up those damn things without stopping or even looking winded.

His legs would hate him later.

At least Gwen was good at running. She just had to imagine she was chasing someone.

Was hopping up several steps at a time cheating? If so Robin was sorry.

Oh god. Chuck was not an athlete, by any stretch of the imagination. This was his hell. Half way up he was already dying.

He'd be cursing this class for the rest of the week.

Eric did the assignment, complete with dorky arm pumping, with relative ease.

Beka was distracted from the task as she glanced around the room. She'd no idea how anything this big could fit inside the room she'd just entered. Twasn't until Pounce batted at her ankles that she remembered she was supposed to be working out.

All too easily she ran up the stairs. And down again. It didn't even come close to the kind of exercises she was supposed to be doing. She ran up the stairs again.

George ran up the stairs. And back down.

He wasn't really sure what the point was, but hey.

Andros had no problem running up the stairs, it was pretty easy for him to do.

Yakko didn't run up the stairs so much as he bounced up the stairs on his butt. Same thing.
