As each student entered the class room, Bond tossed a small, plush toy to them. He also had a covered bowl on his desk, and a large closed box.

"Good afternoon, class," he said after the last student had their toy. "Next week we'll begin going over the act itself, but today we'll be discussing one of the more important subjects we'll look at in this class. Protection."

"There are a number of methods of protecting yourself during sexual activity, of varying efficacy," Bond began. "Ignorance is not one of them."

Bond then went on to give a comprehensive explanation of various forms of contraception and safe sex available to the average person in the twenty-first century, ranging from both male and female condoms, to the pill, to dental dams, outlining whether it was supposed to protect from pregancy, disease, or both, as well as how effective it actually was at doing so.

As he wound up he held up a leftover plushie. "The toys that I gave you before are representations of four common sexually transmitted infections, trust me when I say that they are far less cute when they're rotting your sexual organs." Rather than show them traumatising photos of that, he was just going to let their minds fill in the blanks, much more effective. "You may keep them as a reminder to use proper protection."

"Now, the rest of today's class will be divided into two sections," Bond said. "First I would like you to spend the next quarter hour or so discussing both the forms of protection I've outlined here, and any that might be common in your own culture."

"The rest of the class will be spent in a practical exercise," Bond said, uncovering the bowl and opening the box, pulling a foil square out of the one and a long thin object out of the other. "With a partner, you'll be practising putting these on one of these. Like so." He then demonstrated, keeping his movements slow and precise for the benefit of those watching.

"So, who'd like to start us off."

Bond hasn't assigned you a partner for this. It's a small mercy, but a mercy nonetheless.

There's a lot of condoms in that bowl, of various sizes, styles, colours, and flavours. There's also more than could ever be used in this class, so Bond's not going to notice if you keep some for yourself. The fact he's deliberately looking in another direction is probably encouragement to do so.

There's very little variation in the shape and size of the ~~dildos~~ contents of the box, but there is a dazzling array of colours to choose from.
