Library [09/05]
So the paper had told him to report to the library on Saturday to work a shift. Which, okay, George could do.
Not that he knew much about libraries, but he could read so that had to help - right?
What he wasn't expecting was the library to be decked out for a party. Shiny glitter and confetti (what was the difference between those two again?) carpeting the floor and the tops of the books. Flowers crammed onto every imaginable surface. And streamers hanging down everywhere.
Which, okay, right, George could deal with that. The library wanted to have a party. As long as it didn't expect George to serve at the party, he could deal with it.

Re: Morning
"It's that time again!" After a brief pause, he continued, as if addressing someone who wasn't there. "No, it's time to learn the day's lesson! And to find out what it is, we turn to... The Wheel of Morality!" Yakko motioned towards the door, where a large wheel with 'The Wheel of Morality' written on it in huge letters drifted in.
"Wheel of Morality, turn, turn, turn," Yakko recited as he spun the wheel. "Tell us the lesson that we should learn." As the spinning wheel slowed down and landed on the number 2, a sheet of paper was printed from a slot on the side. Yakko went to his next line as he grabbed the sheet of paper. "Moral Number Two. And the moral of today's story is... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
A confetti-clad Yakko shrugged, darted out of the library, and the wheel disappeared out out the door a moment later.
Re: Morning
"Tisn't me birthday!" he yelled after the puppy-thing. "But thanks!"
