Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.

So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

Codex was never trusting priceline.com again. Yes, the flight had been the cheapest of all, but it had gone through Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas and Chicago to get here. She didn't know why. All she knew was that it had taken nearly 24 hours with stopovers and she was tired.

Then there was the added hassle of finding a luggage cart, which meant she was at the tail end of the people arriving for the shuttle. The adrenaline of travel soon ran out and she found herself around people she didn't know, on the wrong side of the country about to go to a boarding school.

A very simple thought went through her mind. What have I done?

A second one followed soon after. I wonder if I can get wifi out here?
