Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.

So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

Minsc lifted his eyebrows, fighting back a frown. "Not even a little?" he asked.

And then he looked toward Boo.

"Boo will be very disappointed if there's no singing, Sir Anakin."

"Well, he'd never let his own emo get in the way of getting the kids safely to the island, Sir Anakin," Minsc assured him firmly.

Pause.

"That doesn't have ninety-nine verses."

He beamed like a little kid at Christmas.

"Just you wait!" he promised. "You'll love it! You'll come crying for more!"
