BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.

So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

He held out his hand. "Nice to meet you," he said. "Were you told anything about the sort of students you'd be teaching?"

Summer took it, shaking it firmly. "Likewise," she replied. "Not really, no. Though I heard they come from all over."

If she only knew what they really meant by that.

He chuckled. "By 'all over' they mean 'not just this planet or dimension.'"

Cue Summer stopping and staring for a moment.

"... you're not attempting to pull one over on a new teacher are you?" Summer was open to a lot of things but she wanted to be certain this wasn't some practical joke.

He shook his head. "That sort of initiation is petty and best left to the students," he said.

"Do they have a habit of doing that?" Summer inquired. She was curious and wondering what else she should expect. It was her first teaching gig, after all.

"Depends on how long the student has been here," Anakin replied.

"Makes sense," Summer reasoned. "How long have you been teaching in Fandom? If you don't mind me asking," she added, not wanting to seem rude.

"For the better part of three years now," Anakin replied.
