BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.

So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

"Likewise," Didi said properly, amusement still flickering in her dark eyes. "Are you going to school, Jaime?"

"That's the plan," he grinned. "I take it you are too?"

"Junior year," Didi said, almost proudly. "It'll be fun! I have no idea what to expect, do you?"

"I'm a junior too!" Jaime exclaimed, clearly finding the similarities between them... something good.

"And I've never been to a fancy boarding school, so I don't really know either." Also, a whooooole lot of the students seemed to be making the Scarab spaz out. Which promised to make things... interesting.

Didi found the exclamation ... well, kind of cute.

"I've visited them but never been a student at one," she said. "Thionk there will be uniforms? The brochure didn't say."

"Oh, man, I hope not," Jaime groaned. "Because somehow Paco would find out and I'd never hear the end of it."

"You might look cute!" Didi teased. "You can tell Paco girls like uniforms."

Jaime paused and seemed to consider that. "You might have a point there..." he admitted. "But I don't think I could pull of a pleated skirt and knee socks."

"You never know until you try, right?" Didi suggested. "Kilts are very manly."

Jaime laughed. "I don't think anyone wants to see that much of my skinny legs."

"I think it might be my mission to get you into a kilt by the end of the year," Didi decided. "Skinny legs and all."

"Ooooh, a challenge," Jaime grinned. "I suppose that means I have to come up with something inappropriate for you." He quirked an eyebrow. "Care to suggest anything?"

"If I suggest it, that's no fun," Didi said. "I mean, I wear black. Anything not-black is kind of a change."

"Yeah, you're right... that's boring." Jaime shrugged. "Well, I've got a year. I'll come up with something."

"Good luck," Didi told him, and wandered away with a last smile at him.

Jaime smiled after her for a few moments. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

Then he suddenly. "No," he muttered. "She seems perfectly nice and is most certainly not a threat." He paused. "No we are not going to do that. That's ridiculous."
