Rather than fly from Philadelphia to Baltimore, Eric's parents had given him a lift. They had offered to drive him directly to the school, but he told them he would rather meet the group at the airport and take the shuttle. That way he'd get an early glimpse at all the hot girls he was sure would be going to his new school.

So now he was relaxing in the lounge, drinking a soda and waiting. It wasn't going to college, but it would do.

"Oh!" Jaime exclaimed in mock-realization. "I never did know what that crazy law was for, but now it's so obvious!"

"I know!" he joked. "But now you know. Staying on the right side of the law should be cake from now on."

"No... I'm pretty, y'know, good and law abiding." Just wait, he'll discover the twenty first century internet soon enough. "I might have stolen a candy bar when I was six... It didn't really sway me to the life of crime."
