Photography [Week Seven]

When the students entered, they would discover an array of pastries along with coffee, tea and water set out in the back of the room.

"Today's our last day," Veronica said. "Let's hit the darkroom first and develop your last batch of photos. Then everyone can display their best one and we can enjoy a treat while we discuss the emotions you were trying to convey in your photographs."

Angela was pretty cheerfully going about developing her photographs. For a finals week, this one was shaping up pretty quietly so far.

Leda hummed to herself as she developed her photos.

Leda had taken some photos of some of the older buildings in town and of the school.

Angela had her very own agreeable (provided she didn't make him do anything doofy) model in the form of Hannibal.

There were definitely more than a few emotions brought out in that for her, at least.

For the laaaaaaast time

Harry had coffee and a donut (with sprinkles). He was happy to talk to anybody. Or look at pretty pictures. Or eat another donut.

"So, what are your plans after leaving the island?" Veronica asked.

"Harry Dresden, wizard-for-hire," Harry said with a shrug. "So basically I haven't got the faintest idea. I hear there's a me in a Chicago in some version of the world. Might end up there."

Veronica nodded. "Could think of worse places to end up. Think there's a big market for wizards?"

"Probably not," Harry said. "I just kind of always wanted to be listed in the yellow pages under 'wizards.'"

"That would be kind of fun," Veronica agreed with a chuckle.

"Probably not the best thing to base the rest of my life around though," said Harry. "But I haven't come up with a better plan yet."

Veronica nodded. "Could do some PI work. Bet your magic stuff would come in handy."

"You think?" Harry asked. The idea did sound kind of appealing. And it would probably piss Morgan off, somehow. But everything pissed Morgan off somehow. "I wouldn't even know where to start though."

"Too bad you don't know anyone who has like four years of experience," Veronica said. "Oh, wait..."

"Oh, well, if I wanted to be logical I could exploit that relationship, yes," Harry said. "But where's the fun in being logical?"

Been there.
