Creative Writing [Tuesday, 5th Period]

Rick was visibly excited as the class entered the room. Seats were set up in a semi-circle facing a central chair.

"Afternoon, kids," Rick said cheerfully as he stragglers arrived. "I trust you're all ready to present your stories to the rest of the class. If not, you've got the next ten minutes to get yourselves ready."

Gesturing to the central seat, he continued. "Each of you is going to take a turn to read out your story and the rest of you are going to listen politely, which means no writing, talking, or goofing off. At the end of the class, you'll have a chance to mingle and comment on each other's work. There will be pizza."

He clapped his hands together. "So who wants to go first?"

Chloe wasn't one who liked being the center of attention, in fact, she much prefered to be behind the camera directing actions. (She would have happily hired someone to act out her story if she could have.)

The story she presented with feeling was the tale of two brothers -- a werewolf and a magic user - who have lost their father and are on a search to find him. Along the way, they end up learning a lot more about the world around them than they ever expected -- as well as meeting a plucky blonde that joins their travels.
