Driver's Ed [Thursday, Week 5, Period 5]
"Good afternoon," Ziva said, greeting the students as they assembled in the Danger Shop. The racetrack was gone today, replaced with, of all things, a bumper car arena.
"I am aware that this weekend was highly unpleasant for many of you, and so I decided that a stress-relieving activity might be best for today," she said. "If any of you require someone with whom to speak about the last week, I would certainly be happy to listen. Otherwise, enjoy yourselves here. This is not all for fun though. Learning how to drive in close proximity with other vehicles and avoid oncoming collisions will serve you well for the final class. Try to keep those things in mind while you are crashing into each other." Surely, they could multitask a little.

Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
Arthur gave the steering wheel... thing... a little twist in order to return the favour.
Sure, the sideways bump she got lacked skill and finesse, but he was going to manage this. "Is that the best you can do?"
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
"So not!" Dinah hung back for a bit, then floored it, aiming for the driver side of his shiny red car, hunched over the steering wheel like this was the Indy 500.
Look, she was never going to beat him with swords. She'd take what she could get.
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
So to speak.
It got him out of range slightly, allowing him to turn.
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
Dinah kept up ramming speed, aiming for the front of his car now, and sat back to brace for impact, grinning. It was by main force that she didn't let herself make engine noises as she did so.
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
Faced with an insane two-year-old woman coming at him, Arthur did the only sensible thing and hit the pedal as hard as she hit hers. His facial expression told her in no small words how completely ridiculous she was being.
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
bounce
Ridiculous or not, it was totally worth it.
Dinah car went bouncing off Arthur's into the inner rail, backwards, leaving her cackling and trying to turn her car to move it again. Futilely, at the moment.
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
He had some luck, which he was going to focus into a retaliation by heading towards her tail rather hard. Just once! More than that would be unchivalrous.
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
"Thank you!" she called, very slowly turning her car one way, then correcting the other, teeth still jittering from the impact.
If Arthur did this well in real life, he'd be driving a cab in New Gotham in a week. Most people, it'd take a month!
Re: Vroom vroom! [08/06]
As it stood, Arthur took a moment to feel satisfied with himself anyway, then turned the car.
