Gun Club meeting - Gun Range, 4pm
Parker walks onto the range, her .Sig and Glock in their locked case, and makes sure everything is ready. She posts the following two notices, to be read by everyone who wants to participate:
Ten Commandments of Firearms Safety
1. Treat every gun with the respect due a loaded gun.
2. Watch that muzzle! Be able to control the direction of the muzzle even if you should stumble.
3. Be sure barrel and action are clear of obstructions and that you have only ammunition of the proper size for the gun you are carrying.
4. Be sure of your target before you pull the trigger; know identifying features of the game you hunt. Never shoot at a sound or movement.
5. Unload guns when not in use. Take down or have actions open; guns should be carried in cases to the shooting area.
6. Never point a gun at anything you do not want to shoot; avoid all horseplay with a firearm.
7. Never climb a fence or tree or jump a ditch with a loaded gun; never pull a gun toward you by the muzzle.
8. Never shoot a bullet at a flat, hard surface or water; at target practices be sure your backstop is adequate.
9. Store guns and ammunition separately beyond the reach of children and careless adults.
10. Avoid alcoholic beverages before or during shooting.

DEA Agent shoots self during Gun Safety class
"Anyone who wants to break these rules? Can feel free to talk to our sponsor, Principal Connor, about it. John Connor suggested pin-shooting; anyone who wants to do that, sign up below."
She puts on her hearing protection, puts up a Dracula target, and starts shooting.
Parker will be back in 3-4 hours to interact with anyone who wants to show up. Don't bother NPC'ing her. Have fun!

Archie takes one of the practice weapons, a .38mm similar to the one he'd used over Zombie Weekend, and returns to his lane. His stance is still a little bit off, and the kickback affects him more than it would a more experienced marksman, but there's a definite fierce joy in his eyes as he empties a round into the target in less time than it takes to load one of his flintlocks.
Only being the gentleman you all seem to think I am, else I wouldn't ask. *primes Cam's pistol*no subject
Being a gentleman doesn't mean you can't go alpha. *admires and lusts after Archie's priming skills*no subject
In front of everyone? My my, how naughty. *demonstrates the process again, since getting it right helps reduce the chance of a misfire*no subject
You bring out the best in me. *moans*no subject
His eyes go out of focus for a few moments as he imagines what could happen if the ship's cannons could be that accurate.
Some would say the worst. *wicked smile* Now, measuring the powder accurately is important, so you can get the maximum explosive potential out of your weapon.no subject
*nods* And maximum explosive potential is of course very important...no subject
Would you be my consort if I ruled the world?"No, though perhaps just western Europe," he answers.Yes, the results can be quite spectacular.no subject
Consort or first prime. I'm there for you."Got to start small and then move on, smart thinking." Cameron nods.I can't wait to find out for myself.no subject
I would be the happiest despot on Earth with you by my side."In all honesty, I'd be perfectly happy with the command of a ship of the line," Archie chuckles.
Just you wait, Cameron Mitchell, just you wait! You'll be sorry but -- er. Channeled Eliza Doolittle for a moment there, I see.no subject
Not to mention the prettiest."Big responsibiliy," Cameron says, trying to imagine what it'd be like.
But I am!no subject
With the sexiest consort."It's certainly quite a step up from commanding a single gunnery crew, which is all I can boast at the moment. I haven't even been given charge of a prize crew."
But the anticipation is half the fun!no subject
You're a tease, my dear. I love it.no subject
And I do so enjoy teasing you, loverboy.[OOC: Night night! *snuggles*]

Do you two mind? Not in front of the guns. These things could go off!"Are you serious about Western Europe, Kennedy?" Parker asks, pushing the button to bring her target in. It is, of course, riddled with holes. "Because if so, I want to order my Belgian chocolates now."
