Despite the... weekend of hell and bitey bitey, Deadpool and Steve were there for class and ready to shape young minds with their hard earned wisdom.

"Okay, so things happened, stuff and blah blah blah. Class time now. No vampires here, thanks."

"Unless you happen to already be a vampire," Steve added quickly. "In which case you are, of course, welcome as long as you do not bite anyone. So! In light of this past week's events, and some confusion that I understand occurred over in that other universe, we thought it would be helpful to discuss ways to determine that your friends are who they say they are without hurting their feelings."

"Or having to kill them in a tragic fashion," Deadpool added. Because he was helpful like that. "There are many reasons why your friend may not be your friend anymore. Shapeshifting aliens, alternate timelines, evil goatees, possession, crazy mind control devices, really weird coincidences with people looking like twins..."

"You forgot actual evil twins," Steve provided helpfully. "Additionally, there are clones and people surgically altered to look like your friends. And I'm sure I'm still forgetting something. But the important thing is, when these things inevitably happen to you, how do you deal with them?"

Twins were easy to forget, okay?

"Like, having a special code word to let you know they're the right person!" Not that it helped, really. "Or having a telepath nearby to help out."

"You can also quiz--subtly your friend on something only they would know. But sometimes even these methods will fail you. Like your friend might have been replaced by a Skrull. In that case, you'll need to consider technology."

"Which they won't have." Really, Steve. Really. "But exists! So, how about we come up with a list of questions to subtly question each other in case of being replaced, kaaaay?"

"That sounds reasonable," Steve agreed. "You never know when it'll come in handy."

"Weeeeell. Get on it, kiddos!"

They come from a magical world, don't they?

Magical indeed! Bobby was listening to the lecture... and kind of wishing he'd had a class like this, oh, last year or something.

Raven had not wanted to go to class, but she forced herself. But especially given the subject matter, she wasn't really up for participating.

Joan tried to catch Rachel's glance to give her an encouraging smile.

Raven looked Joan's way and gave her a half-smile back.

"You okay today?" she whispered.

"I made myself come to class," Raven said quietly.

Joan frowned. "Anything I can do?"

"I do not know," Raven said. "The other world has affected me greatly. I am not certain it is safe for me to remain here in Fandom."

"Where else would you go?" Joan asked. "Why wouldn't it be safe here?"

"I do not know," Raven said. "And...I do not think it is safe now for others to be near me."

Rose was so, so happy she didn't come from their crazy world.

She also was glancing over at Bobby every so often, wondering if he could do the same (non-vampiric) stuff that his counterpart in other Fandom could.

Hannibal had his currently fuzzy critter shaped girlfriend on his desk and that was convenient because it gave him someone to make faces at while listening to the strange lecture.

Adora saw Hannibal making faces and felt mildly afraid for her friend.

Hannibal glanced over and caught sight of Adora and asked, "What?"

"Are you having a problem with your desk?" Adora asked.

"No, I'm entertaining Angela," he said. Angela who was a fuzzy critter and crawling around on his lap and all.

She looked closer, "Oh! Poor Angela! How long has she been that way?"

"Since late last week," Hannibal said, holding Angela up and making her wave at Adora. "She caught Eddie's sickness! In the cutest possible way."

"Awww!" Adora cooed at her. "She is precious! Hi Angela! Hi!"

"I'm sure she'll be hating life when she changes back but for now, I think I'm gonna put bows in her hair and stuff," he said, letting Angela run around on his desk.

Very, very magical.

Emma had given serious thought to skipping today, but had dragged herself out to class anyway. Getting out was good, and she kinda wanted to see if the Tara-girl was in class today.

The Tara-girl was there, and taking notes about the craziness. She was blissfully unaware of any particular reason to pay attention to Emma.

Elle actually took notes. Totally.

Ellie was listening, though she was not taking notes. The lectures were always so memorable anyway. She didn't need notes, really.
