Library (And Support Services): Saturday Morning

This time there was breakfast food out - maybe not the best breakfast food since it was a donation from McMooby's, but at least there was protein in it. And the Perk had sent along one of those giant business-meeting coffee dispensers.

Up at a table near the front, there was a notebook with neat (if extremely somewhat girly) handwriting that detailed what had been found so far: sunlight, holy water, stakes, a device under the school that controls the island... it was all there. What they didn't have, of course, was anything to tell them where to send the other island, or how, or any guarantee the people over there could do anything with the information. Assuming the other Fandom even had everything in it that this one did.

So. Piles of books on the tables. Yes. Lots and loooots of books.

[OOC: OPEN! Research post two, ends just before noon because that's when volunteers will be scurrying over to Town Hall to get the collected info to the last of the non-comatose sleepers!]

It wasn't that Morgana didn't appreciate the breakfast foods. She really did. But biscuits and soup had her eyes lighting up, and she smiled as she greeted him. "You needn't go to all of this trouble, honestly. But thank you," she said.

Eric grinned. "It's no trouble at all, really," he insisted. "Not just me, either, George Sands -- do you know him? -- he did at least half the cooking."

He set the bag down on a table that was mostly free and started pulling dishes out of the apparently empty bag. A pot of soup, then another, and a baked macaroni casserole; a basket of the aforementioned biscuits, still warm from the oven; a dish filled with waffles, beside which he sat small pots of whipped cream and strawberry sauce.

"I hope it's not too much," he added.

Morgana watched as the bounty grew, and her good mood grew with it. "It's perfect," she said in amazement, eying the bag curiously.

Eric caught the glance at the bag. "Don't ask me," he said, "I have no idea how the bag works. Ronan brought it by, I guess he'd been planning to do the same thing we were. He left the bags with me and George, and went off to the town hall to help there."

Last out were a stack of plates and another of bowls; he grabbed one of the plates and began piling food on it. "Here," he said, offering it to Morgana.

Boys with proper manners weren't as easy to find here as they were at home, and Morgana gave Eric a small curtsy as she took the plate. "Thank you very much," she said. "Be sure to thank the cooks as well for us, would you?"

Eric offered a small bow in return to the curtsy -- not even mocking, he'd had to do that more than enough growing up 'privileged'. "Just the one other," he said. "But thank you. And I'll pass it on to George as well."
