The students had ~~handwavily~~ been notified to meet in the Danger Shop this week. Upon entering, they would find their teachers standing among some dining tables. "Good morning, class," Steve said. "Today we're going to talk about table etiquette."

"Which is when you use napkins and all that Pretty Woman stuff. Though I doubt any of you are hookers with a heart of gold..." Although the chick who ran the flower shop was.

"Wade!" Steve said, sounding somewhat scandalized. Then he remembered who he was dealing with here and decided moving along would be the better part of valor. "You should always use napkins, of course, but proper dining etiquette is more complicated than that. It involves knowing how to properly set a table, as well as which utensils to use for which foods. It's kind of a pain," he admitted, "but it can help to smooth the way in a social situation."

"Or just confuse the crap outta ya and make you start to wonder if this was just a bourgeois plot to keep the man down," Deadpool added helpfully. "The tablecloth is there for a reason, right? Why waste a perfectly good napkin when you have that? And a shrimp fork? Really? Really?"

"The tablecloth is there for a reason, but to substitute for a napkin is not it," Steve said. "As far as place settings go, please refer to this diagram, which will help you understand what goes where and when to use each utensil. Utensils are arranged basically in the order they'll be used."

Deadpool rolled his eyes. "Blah blah blah boringcakes. How about we actually do something? Can we have 'em set the table and then yank the tablecloth off? It'll teach them poise."

Or how to clean up smashed china. One of those. "Yes, everyone pick a table, then set it for four either formally or informally," Steve said. "Then..." he gestured to his co-teacher to let him finish the assignment.

"Bill Murray that shiznat up!" Deadpool said cheerfully. "Work in groups of... say... two. That's a good, solid number. Not a lonely number at all. That would be one."

"What?" Steve asked him blankly. Then he realized giving Deadpool an opening was a bad idea and said, "It doesn't matter. Everyone pair up and get to work."

"Hannibal King," he said, giving her a small bow. "And you?"

"Eva Rodriguez." She said simply; her slight Boston accent lost in a Spanish one as she said her last name. "Plus one?" Her round about way of asking if he had a girlfriend.

"Mmm hmm," he said, pointing towards where Angela was. "She's my plus one."

She looked towards the other girl. "Pretty. Lucky man." Eva said genuinely, not the kind to be catty about that stuff at all. "You're both on the list then. Now, I just need like...twenty more people." Eva admitted.

"I think so too," he said, smiling for a moment longer at Angela before turning back to his work. "You know, you could just stick up fliers and I'd guarantee you'd get a group. Unless you like specific names before the party starts."

"No, I'm not a picky person, but I don't want too many people filing in because I'm not really a big clean up people either." More people always meant more mess.

"Slide fliers under the doors of the people on your floor?" he suggested. "Keeps it smaller than most of the parties can be around here."

"That's a thought." Eva said, thinking about it for another minute before moving on. "I'll figure it out later. I'm in no rush. I'm still getting over my slippers becoming human."

Hannibal raised an eyebrow but laughed while he set up another setting. "Slippers don't seem too bad." Compared to what came to life for him, of course.

"Oh, yeah? They followed me around non-stop. Thankfully, they weren't too annoying, but it was still a bit much." Eva admitted. "What did you get stuck with?"

"Magazines of a questionable nature," he said, trying to keep it PG for class and girlfriend reasons. "Two of them. And they...were clingy."

Eva laughed at that a bit, knowing she shouldn't but not able to help it. "Of course they were."

"Yeah, I've been trying to forget that that happened," he said, blushing faintly. "I foisted them on a friend of mine and he seemed happy about that."

"Right." A beat. "So what's this friend's name? Just so I know who to watch out for." Eva asked.

"Chuck Bass," he said and smirked. "If you've met him, you won't forget him." Chuck would make sure of that in one way or another.

"True. It's hard to forget a man who offers you his flask on the first day." Eva admitted. "He seemed like the...generally generous type."

"Oh, he's the very generous type," Hannibal agreed with a smirk. "He's all about the sharing."

"Although, those guys are obviously not ideal boyfriend material, they are kind of like the best friends to have. I don't know about Chuck, but the generous guys I know have plenty of conquest stories, and girl power and all that stuff aside, conquest stories are entertaining."
