Anakin sat in Professor Ted's classroom and waited to see who else might show up for the informational meeting of the Emo Brooders Deep Thoughts Club.

He snacked on one of the Twinkies left over from the day's music classes. A sugar high might not lead to deep thoughts, but it's hard to resist the siren call of yellow cake and cream.

Anakin tossed a Twinkie towards Hamlet. "Plus the dye has got to do something. Hopefully something non-lethal."

These can't be any worse the food from the school cafeteria. Unless the Twinkie makers very much enjoy Billy Joel...

"You were singing him, too? That was not a good day." Anakin shrugged. "Better than yearbook food day, sure, but still not great."

Yes, and loudly too. That was the day that I swore vengeance against the Swedish Chef. Which I will get around to eventually, I swear. And I'm just thankful that I passed over the yearbook food. For then I would have become my uncle and would have had to kill myself out of revenge.

It's part of a much longer list of people I need to get revenge on and/or kill. Which I will get to one day. Really. I swear it. No bluffing. Yeah. And I really would have regretted it later. The whole me being dead and not him thing.

"Of course you will." Anakin looked at the ground. "I, of course, don't have any kind of list in my head of beings that would be better off no longer part of the living because that would be un-Jedi like. Except I totally do."

Of course not. You wouldn't want to go against your, er, Jedi training, now would you. Do you have a dead relative telling you to kill people too? Because I am so very sick of putting up with mine.

No. But I do have a teacher who's going to drive me to homicide one of these days. I'll have to introduce you. You'll like him. He's broody, too.

Nah. He's kinda working the beard-and-Jesus-hair thing. But he can wear some boots. Damn. Um. Not that I've looked.
