BWI - Portalocity Lounge [Friday Morning]

Chloe got off her flight from New York and followed the signs to the lounge. She dumped the duffle bag of clothes that Andrew had hastily purchased on the floor and slumped into one of the uncomfortable airport chairs.

She was still against this plan but she realized on the flight that sulking wouldn't make it any better so she was going to put on a brave face and make the most of it.

Danny looked over at the other chaperon, who he'd met a few moments before wandering towards Tyler in an attempt for sanity. "Really??"

"My hand to god," Tyler said solemnly. "He's doing ethics this term. But it's co-teaching, so shouldn't be as bad as modeling."

"Ethics..?" Danny dug the school envelope out of his back pocket. "As in, Ethics and Etiquette, taught by Rogers and Wilson?"

"My dad picked my classes," Danny replied, still annoyed by that part of it. "I didn't even know I was going away to school until two days ago."

Danny shrugged. "My parents didn't want me to know I was going away, I guess. Or they didn't want me to go. Who knows. All I know is that this is 'for my own good' and 'it's just until the fuss settles down'."

Yes, he was doing the teenager-mocking-an-authority-figure voice just then.

Tyler smiled slightly, deciding he liked this one. "Tat sounds sort of familiar," he observed. "What sort of a fuss?"

"Erm. I did something big and important last winter, and so school's been kind of difficult for me." Danny rubbed the back of his neck. "The last semester I couldn't really pay attention because of it."
