BWI - Portalocity Lounge [Friday Morning]

Chloe got off her flight from New York and followed the signs to the lounge. She dumped the duffle bag of clothes that Andrew had hastily purchased on the floor and slumped into one of the uncomfortable airport chairs.

She was still against this plan but she realized on the flight that sulking wouldn't make it any better so she was going to put on a brave face and make the most of it.

Aw, Elle's heart immediately went out to this girl and she gingerly sat down next to her. "He is super sweet and he loves people. He trembles now and again but he's totally fine. What grade are you in, Chloe?"

"F-Freshman," she said as she petted Bruiser. "Does he t-tremble b-because he's s-scared?"

"I'm a sophomore so we'll get to spend fun times together," she said with bright encouragement. It was her personal duty to see to it this girl broke free from that shy outter wall. Elle would take her shopping! "Not so much? It's more his breed, but when he is scared the trembling is more pronounced. He is usually always with me. Do you have a pet back home?"

Chloe did smile at Elle now. She wasn't sure Elle would want to spend that much time with her when she found out how unfun she was or that she had freaky ass powers.

However, for now, she was enjoying the fantasy of having a real friend at this place.

"N-no I don't. I really l-like animals, though."

Elle could turn any unfun person fun. It just took time and care and constant encouragement. Not to mention shopping, manicures, pedicures, slumber parties, and the list goes on. The freaky ass powers might break her.

"You'll just have to visit me and Bruiser often then, won't you?"

Chloe nodded. "I'd like that," she said shyly. "It'd be nice to have a friend here."

As she relaxed around Elle, the stutter started to fade.

"We are super friends already, aren't we? And I imagine we'll have some super fun times together. You seem so creative; do you make crafts, draw or paint? I'm a huge fan of glitter, omigod," she laughed.

"I write and I want to make movies," she said with a smile. "I want to be a director."

"I assumed with the color in your hair you were artistic, but making movies is somewhat artistic, isn't it? I think that's totally awesome. What a great goal, Chloe."

Chloe blushed. "Thank you," she managed to get out without stammering.
