BWI - Portalocity Lounge [Friday Morning]

Chloe got off her flight from New York and followed the signs to the lounge. She dumped the duffle bag of clothes that Andrew had hastily purchased on the floor and slumped into one of the uncomfortable airport chairs.

She was still against this plan but she realized on the flight that sulking wouldn't make it any better so she was going to put on a brave face and make the most of it.

Considering some of the people she had met or seen recently, she thought this was a pretty acceptable answer.

"C-can I ask you s-something sir?"

"Sure," Tyler said. "Go for it."

"Is Fandom a safe haven like my... g-guardian thinks it is?"

Because if it would be easy for the doctors or other people from Lyle House to grab her from there she was so calling Derek and demanding he come get her now.

Oh, wow. That was not a fair question.

It was not a yes.

She just stared at him for a moment, fear starting to fill her eyes. This was not what she had been expecting.

She gave him a faint, though shaky smile, and climbed into the bus.

Tyler ... almost felt guilty about causing that reaction.

Still, he couldn't lie to her. That would be worse. He winced and hoped she'd work it out as he turned to the next student.
