As the class headed in today, they'd find the usual clearing set up in the Danger Shop had a little village near it this time, though they were on its outskirts, with the usual choices of weaponry and armourments available to the students. Minsc clasped his hands together with a loud sound to get things started.

"Hullo!" he said. "It is our last day! So let's do some rangering!"

He made a sweeping gesture toward the village. "Random Village here has been having some problems! These problems seem to be of a distinctly creature-like manner, making you, as a ranger, before for the task of vanquishing it! From here, you are on your own! ....Unless you decide to partner up, you can do that too, or even work in a group if you'd like! I like groups of six myself. But! From here, you can go into the village and ask around for clues on what is happening. Or you may stay here in the woods and put your tracking skills to use! Or both! It never hurts to use all the resources available to you!"

"I will tell you one thing," Minsc said, "the source of this problem has with it a treasure! The point of the final, then, if to find the source, stop the problem, find the treasure, and then bring it back to me. If you do not find the treasure, but have a grand story of adventure instead, that is also acceptable."

"Now go forth!" he barked. "And ranger away!"

How do you feel about this being the last class?

...and after as well! To arms and prepare yourself for venturing out into....adventure!

Just a short walk away is the Random Village (which actually seems to resemble Beregost quite a lot). Here, you might find many sources of information about what trouble is plaguing it, from the people milling on the streets doing their business, to inns and shops and taverns, and armoury and a temple and manor. Maybe even a who-- eer, seamstress house, too!

Explore and mod at will. Anything you can think you might want to do in a large-ish village is available. Minsc thinks he might just go have a mug of some holographic ale. Clues, however, shall come in pings based on interactions.

And, of course, there is great wilderness! Sometimes, what you see around you can give you just as many clues, especially if you've got your sharp rangering skills available! Do some exploring in the woods to look for what kind of activity might have been going on in the area.

What you do is moddable; clues, however, shall come in pings.

All clues have lead you to a dark cave barely seen in the side of a dark brown cropping of rocks; in fact, it seems the blood on the ground is far more visible than the entrance itself, but you're a ranger and should have no trouble finding it, right?

Herein lies the trouble! Are you ready to face it?

He'll be waiting back in the village, where he can keep an eye on everyone's progress and stop anything before anyone gets too hurt.

He'll also be there waiting for the treasure, should you find it, and for whatever reason you might need him for!

Who made excellent rangers, too!

Fair warning: this final is possibly far more interactive than what I might actually have time for with my wonky schedule right now, but, dammit, I love it too much to not try. So please to be bearing with me and my potentially slow butt.

Feel free to skip anything you'd like as well, if you prefer. Basically, the clues will lead to a band of orcs taking up shop in the cave as a base for their operations in kidnapping young damsels (and a few young sirs...ahem). The treasure comes in the form of a scroll where one of the orc generals (in the best terms he could) wrote out the plan of operations. Returning it means an ambush can be planned and the day saved! Huzzah!

This class was fantastically fun, so thank you all for being awesome!

Minsc took a moment to come up to his intrepid TA and clasp a large, proud hand on his shoulder.

"Well done, Sir Edward, well done! I must thank you being an upstanding TA!"

Minsc truly doubted that anyone could have been as appreciative of the need for copious emphasis and exclamation marks as he.

Ah, but of course Prince Edward stopped in at a local tavern first. "Good day, barwench! A mug of your finest ale!" He then glanced around, searching faces. It was information he sought, and he very well planned to get it! Ah-hah!

Prince Edward was truly proud! His gleaming white teeth behind his super wide smile proved it. "Thank you! I must say it was an honor and privilege serving under your firm and just hand! I shall never forget this gllllorious experience! Ah-hah!"

One fine holographic all coming up! And the barkeep eyed Prince Edward as his serving girl set it in front of him, cleaning out a perpetually dirty mug as he asked, "You're not from 'round these parts, are ya?"

"Ah-hah!" Minsc cheerfully responded back. "Excellent! And may your never forgetting keep you from being hacked apart by nefarious bad-doers one day, good Sir Edward!"

Prince Edward eyed this man back. "I am not!" he replied evenly, if not loudly. "I seek a ~~beautiful girl, my one coquette, the answer to my love's duet~~ person of interest, peasant. A person with information." He leaned forward, and narrowed his eyes.

"Ah-hahah! I shall not, my good, sir! I shall dispatch any and all evil, saving the fine peas- saving the fine people of this land so that they may be free! You may depend upon it!"

"Ain't nothin'," the barkeep said, pausing a moment to make an expertly sonorous ring come from a brass spittoon as he hacked something into it, "go through this town without me hearin' about it, boy. This ain't about the recent trouble in these parts, is it?"

"Ah-hahahah!" said Minsc. "Wonderful! I knew that I could! You shall make a fine ranger, my good sir!"

Ew. That was plain nasty. Edward leaned back, brushing imaginary hacking ickery from the fine cut of his princely attire.

"It most certainly is. Tell me what you know," he demanded. Firmly. "I have come to help. Ah-hah!"
