Loki knew it was the last day of class and, while he'd thought of treating the class to something, he decided against it because he was a damn lazy bastard and he got up too late to actually get anything. The class had been ~~handwavily~~ notified to meet in the Danger Shop just to make things easier.

"So, it's the last class," he said from his spot at the front of the room, "and you've all survived. Not that there was a chance you wouldn't but still, it's good to see. I don't really have anything planned for your final exam because it's hard to test your skills in working together subjectively. So, you get off easy."

Well, not that easy.

"That doesn't mean you can fucking leave or anything, oh no," he continued. "You're still stuck with doing something, you're just not going to get graded on it. Since you've been working together all term, today, you get to work against each other. Today, you're going to joust! So, have fun and thanks for coming to class every week. Hope you learned something and if you didn't, it was your fucking fault and not mine."

Always displacing blame.

"Hope to see a few of you next semester." Like he'd be giving up a sweet teaching gig.

The last day of class meant there was a box for Loki with big, fresh from the oven cinnamon rolls that were finger licking good. Amber should know since she ate one on the way to class. There was a bit of icing on her cheek to prove it.

She was sipping coffee and grinning wide, pleased with herself.

"Oooh, sugar," Loki said, reaching for a cinnamon bun. "You know how to make the last day of class a good one."

"That's 'cause I'm totally awesome," she said, grinning.

"And I appreciate being the beneficiary of your awesomeness," he said. "Thank you. I haven't eaten breakfast yet."

"Do you eat breakfast any other day of the week?" she asked.

"If I get up early enough," Loki said, nodding. "If I don't, I just skip straight to lunch which is usually pizza or something easy."

"My kind of guy," she said, nodding as well. "If I forget to grab a pop-tart or something like that, then whatever, lunch is coming up and it's usually pizza or a cheeseburger."

"Easy and good," Loki agreed. "Why go for healthy when healthy shit tastes so bland?"

"No kidding. Especially when I can't seem to gain a freaking pound. Might as well eat what the hell ever." Seriously.

"Hey, you were gonna tell me something juicey today."

"Was I?" He remembered. "What was I going to tell you?"

Amber smirked. "How am I supposed to know? You tell me, then I'll know."

"I'm not what you think I am," he said, giving her that for the moment.

She tilted her head, pondered that. "Okay. What are you then besides a man who knows all the bad things I've done?"

"Really goddamn good looking," he said and smirked.

There was a definite pause from Amber before she cracked up laughing.

"Yes, you are, but that's hardly a juicy tidbit."

"Why not?" Loki asked. "I think it's plenty juicy!"

"How so, Loki? I mean, it's pretty much common knowlege. Juicy stuff is like... secretive and stuff."

"We might have different definitions of juicy," he said. "You never defined the word!"

He was just being a jackass.

Yes, she figured as much. Still, she excused it because he amused her.

"Okay, tell me your definition of juicy and then I'll tell you mine."

"Juicy means something awesome," he decided after a moment.

"Hmm. You being goodlooking is basically just a fact. As awesome as it may be, it's still just a random fact. Not juicy at all." She was making this up as she went along. "Come on, you can do better than stating the obvious, can't you?" She seriously tried to look cute here.

"Fine, fine, I'm...really fucking old," he decided. "Like a couple of centuries. Older than that even."

"Oooh, that's pretty juicy," she said. "Like... a vampire?"

"Fuck no, I don't have fangs," he said and grimaced. "Ew."

She kind of agreed. Blood had to be nasty.

"So then..." again she tilted her head to ponder his centuries old self.

"You're like a wizard, magician -" wait, he'd mentioned commandments last class, "- an angel?" Yeah, no way.
