Loki knew it was the last day of class and, while he'd thought of treating the class to something, he decided against it because he was a damn lazy bastard and he got up too late to actually get anything. The class had been ~~handwavily~~ notified to meet in the Danger Shop just to make things easier.

"So, it's the last class," he said from his spot at the front of the room, "and you've all survived. Not that there was a chance you wouldn't but still, it's good to see. I don't really have anything planned for your final exam because it's hard to test your skills in working together subjectively. So, you get off easy."

Well, not that easy.

"That doesn't mean you can fucking leave or anything, oh no," he continued. "You're still stuck with doing something, you're just not going to get graded on it. Since you've been working together all term, today, you get to work against each other. Today, you're going to joust! So, have fun and thanks for coming to class every week. Hope you learned something and if you didn't, it was your fucking fault and not mine."

Always displacing blame.

"Hope to see a few of you next semester." Like he'd be giving up a sweet teaching gig.

"Fine, fine, I'm...really fucking old," he decided. "Like a couple of centuries. Older than that even."

"Oooh, that's pretty juicy," she said. "Like... a vampire?"

"Fuck no, I don't have fangs," he said and grimaced. "Ew."

She kind of agreed. Blood had to be nasty.

"So then..." again she tilted her head to ponder his centuries old self.

"You're like a wizard, magician -" wait, he'd mentioned commandments last class, "- an angel?" Yeah, no way.

"And here I thought you wouldn't actually fucking guess," he said, impressed.

"Seriously? Oh my god wow," she exclaimed. "So what are you fallen or...?"

"Let's just go with me being an angel for now," Loki decided. "No need for the long life story in the middle of class."

"Right," she nodded, totally agreeing. "That's kind of more juice than I need and I wouldn't bug you like that." She smiled. An angel. That was so awesome. Leaning forward some, she whispered: "Do you, um, have wings?"

"Yes," he said, nodding. "I do. No, I'm not taking them out in class."

"That is so freaking cool," she continued to whisper. Mostly just because she was awestruck. "Well, you win, Loki. Your juicy tidbits are far more juicy than mine."
