Claudia, polka dot leggings, red flamingo shirt, cowboy boots and all, walked into the library, planning to spend the day organizing things by dusting each page of People magazine individually.

"Oh, good," Claudia said, smiling. "But you're pretty and smart and have an awesome accent and great boobs. Of course he'd want to go out with you."

Like, literally, since Sookie couldn't help but look down at her chest now. No one had really said anything to her about it out loud before.

"And keeping your hair down is good because that way you can play with it and keep drawing attention back to your face," Claudia kept babbling.

"But shouldn't he be looking there anyway?" Sookie wondered. "I mean, where else would he be looking?"

Pause.

"...other than at my, um, great boobs, but Zayne's not like that."

"Oh, I felt so bad for him last week," Claudia said. "He was all flaily."

"Yeah, how much of you did he see, anyway?" she asked curiously. "He mentioned that before we -- you know."

"Before you what?" Claudia asked, all ready to be suitably scandalized.

"...kissed," she said shyly. "In the common room. There were so many people there. I don't think I even really knew most of them -- just Zayne, and that girl Peyton who I met that night."

Claudia's thoughts were decidedly impolite about Peyton. "Awwwwwww," she said. "Kissing is the best as long as they aren't too tongue-y or have bad breath."

Sookie was more interested in that stream of thought. "Wait, why don't you like Peyton?"

"At the beginning of the semester it was like she was trying to collect all the guys that looked like Dean," Claudia groused. "And she can't have them all. Priestly is mine."

Normally, Sookie didn't much like gossip, but this was just a weird idea, she had to kind of go with it. "Priestly only barely looks like Dean, though. I mean, it's hard to look less like someone with your same face."

"I know! But he loves music and has awesome hair and Peyton was allllll over him in the beginning. Ugh."

"I didn't tattoo my name on his forehead," Claudia said, "and we were in the still talking and flirting stage, but she already had a guy."
