Steve was looking less than enthused as he stood up before the class this morning. No particular reason, really. He swore. "Good morning, everyone," he said. "Today we'll be making roses. Yes, I said making. Out of duct tape." Steve held up one such rose. "They may not smell as nice, but they last a lot longer. We have duct tape in all sorts of colors and floral wire, which is really all you need. Take a tutorial handout and get started. You should have time to make at least a few roses today, but if you want to make more you're welcome to take some wire and tape with you. Just try not to take the last roll of a color someone else wants. Have fun! Oh," he added as an afterthought, "I will not be holding office hours this week, so if anyone wants to talk to me, they'll have to grab me after the workshop. That's all."

Ino was less tired, but still sore and that rather showed in how she held herself, even as Ino eyed the instructions dubiously.

"What if we like real flowers better?" Ino murmured, picking up some yellow duct tape. "I mean, though, this is cute, but..."

Jennifer started working on the project, a little smile on her face. She happened to like flowers.

Ooooh! This, Zack could do. It was almost like a zen project, really. Making flowers out of tape?

Just so long as he didn't get too much of it stuck to himself, he'd be doing fine.

This was the best idea ever. Claudia had a tidy pile of roses growing in a variety of colors (some not exactly found in nature). She was going to use them to decorate a skirt.

Éowyn thought this was a rather lovely idea, and focused on making white roses. At least, as white as the duct tape happened to be.
