"This is it," Tyler announced once everybody was in the classroom and sitting in their assigned pairs. "At the end of this class, history is over."
Sometimes, he thought he was funny.
"From here on out, you'll have to deal with the here and now." Well, Algren was amused, at any rate. "Marks, for example, are a relatively important chunk of the present, aren't they? Those final assignments aren't history just yet."
It was possible that this lecture was going to consist mostly of bad jokes containing the word 'history.' The students would have to cope, somehow.
"Anemone and Cal, you're up first," Tyler said, solemn. "We trust you to make history."

shinoi_tiger. Teams can tag in to present in any order -- the order shown is for IC purposes only. That said, uh, please don't do anything major that teams after you would have to react to unless you're the last team.]

Alice + Summer: 1985-89
Re: Alice + Summer: 1985-89
handwavey like a handwavey thingpresentation focused largely on the Fall of the Berlin Wall and its impact on history. She went on to talk about how she thought it was on of the most important things to occur in that time period. It was pretty insightful coming from a girl who could be shallow when she wanted.Re: Alice + Summer: 1985-89
similarly handwaveypresentation turned to the Berlin Wall's role in the general collapse of communist states in Europe that year, noting that some of the revolutions were peaceful, but a few tended to violence. She then focused on the Tiananmen Square massacre as something which was neither peaceful, nor a successful revolution.
