Sex Ed, Monday [4-20] Third Period

"Well, this is our last class together," Steve said as he leaned on his desk next to a tray of cupcakes. "This is, in fact, your final exam. You've been a wonderful class this semester, and I hope you've learned something useful. In fact, that's your final. I want you to write an essay on what you've learned in this class. Please, don't be afraid to be honest. Then, you're free to go, or stay and have a cupcake. Or take a cupcake with you. Anything goes. I hope you'll remember to be safe and sane, and that kids are only for teenagers on the weekend after prom." He grinned and said, "Everything away but paper and pens, and your essay-writing time begins...now."

Edmund eyed the cupcakes, then took two and hurriedly ate them. He couldn't remember the last time he'd had a proper meal. Cupcakes absolutely counted.

Okay, so he's warily eying the cupcakes. It's unusual for him to find food in a learning environment, so he's a little skeptical.

Alice was just paranoid enough to wonder if the cupcakes were spiked or damaged in some way, and were part of the final. Except Mr. Rogers seemed far too kind for that sort of thing.
