Sarah sits at the desk down in front, off in a world of her own as she writes down random, almost illegible notes on a pad of paper. Anybody who might wish to risk their lives to peek at what she's writing would see a lot of half-baked theories about locker 327.

John blows kisses. "I didn't drink last night, Parker. Perfectly fine. No smoking either. This body is a temple."

"Temple to what? Or who? Sara Lee?" Parker grins, stretches, and makes a face. Blick. Bleah. Blargh.

"Temple to all. It's meant to be worshipped," he says with a laugh. John eyes the suckage and rolls his eyes. "You look like you've had a lot of experience doing that."

"Does Sun know that you're soliciting worshippers?" Parker makes her cranky face, then shrugs, popping the candy out of her mouth. "Watching the freshmen try to *not* watch me do this is the only fun I'm getting out of not smoking at the moment."

John shrugs at the mention of Aeryn. "Lee said you had an ulcer. How long can you not smoke for?"

Parker looks mutinous, then rolls her eyes. "I'm told forever. Although, the people telling me keep mentioning that pesky cancer thing too." She pops the candy back in her mouth, and talks around it. "At least a month until the symptoms clear up, probably. Stabbing stomach pain being not my kink, I'm actually going to try. We'll see what happens after that."

"It's good that you're trying, at least. Smoking's a nasty thing. And little Raindrop can't like the second hand smoke effect," John says with a wicked grin.

Parker sticks out her tongue, rolls it around the lollipop, and says, "Raindrop can bite me. I'm giving her all this lovely sugar, you'd think she'd be grateful instead of still trying to burn through my stomach walls."

Angela waves to John and Parker as she comes in, and stops to talk to them. "Sounds like I missed a really good party," she grumbles. "Stupid allergies."

John waves back. "Heh, I left early. It was okay while I was there. Lots of alcohol which seems to be the official school drink."

Angela nods. "Tell me about it. I'm amazed our dorm parents don't notice." She wrinkles her foreheads. "Do we even have dorm parents, or do they just trust us not to blow the place up on our own?"

John laughs. "I think if we don't kill each other or hurt ourselves, we're okay. Well, we are for now. You thought the weapons ban was bad, can you imagine an alcohol ban?"

"It'll be a return to the days of bootlegging." Parker looked throughtful. "That could be ... fun."

"Parker Moonshine has a nice ring to it," John adds, looking thoughtful as well.

"M-whatever-her-first-name-is, I still think it's totally Mysti or Myrtle, Moonshine is even better. I mean, Mysti Moonshine -- everyone would line up for that."

Parker frowns. "Actually, I think my grandfather might have already used that one, a few decades ago...." She grins. "But there's no reason not to resurrect it, given cause."

"There'd totally be a riot in the dorms," Angela says. "And definitely bootlegging. McGuyver is back -- do you remember that still he made the first week? I heard the results were deadly. Or maybe just 'wish you-were-dead'-ly."

"Yeah, it's the still that blew up, right?" John laughs and slaps his knee. "Bootlegging might be fun. I always wanted to say I drank moonshine once."

"It was a good party, but everyone who drank was having more fun than me," Parker said. "Sorry you missed it, though. Are we still on for research on Saturday?"

Angela looks at Parker with some sympathy. "Oh, do you have to give up drinking and smoking? Fun."

"And yeah, Saturday should be good. Do you think Zero would want to help out, or do you know..." she flounders for a second "where the thing is?"

"Drinking, at least for a couple weeks, yeah. I'm not a heavy drinker anyway, but it does take the fun out of partying." Parker takes her lollipop out of her mouth and glares at it. "I'm going to the gym later. Hopefully beating up on a bag will keep me from killing anyone else."

"I think Zero will want to help, and... I have an idea. But we need to check on the thing." Parker smiles sweetly at Crichton. "Yeah."

"You're so fickle. First you want the ring back, then you want the ring and the Maui estate, now the wedding's on again." Parker rolls her eyes. "Dear E.Jean: he *says* he loves me, but he won't set a date. If I kidnap him to Vegas, do you think he'll do the right thing?"

Angela nods. "I don't drink a lot either -- I had a friend who OD'd, and it kind of took some of the fun out of the whole thing. But yeah, I'd miss it for parties."

She glances over at Marty. "Sounds good on the ... other thing. We'll talk Friday to line everything up." Then she echoes Parker's weet smile.

Parker grimaces. "Thank god no one's done *that* yet. Although I suppose it's just a matter of time."

"Friday it is." Parker grins.
