"We're covering Mexican food today!" Marshall said, clapping his hands together. "The one thing that always hits the spot. Until you have to go to the bathroom."

"Mexican food is, obviously, food that originated in Mexico. It's pretty popular in this country since it's so close..." Marshall paused. "Kind of makes me wonder why Canadian food isn't more popular. I do love their bacon. Even if it is really ham. Anyways. Most of the stuff you find in restaurants here is an Americanized version of Mexican cuisine, sometimes know as Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex, depending where in the country you are. It's good food that fills you up pretty quick. It's been my experience that you can order pretty much anything in a Mexican restaurant and it'll be good."

Marshall could order anything from any restaurant and he'd think it was good.

"We've got a lot of stuff here: burritos, tacos, empanadas, enchiladas, fajitas, gorditas, quesadillas, tacos, tamales..." Marshall said, pointing at each type of food as he said the name. "And we've also got nachos and churros, which are freaking delicious."

"So, yeah, it's damn good food and they're filled with all sorts of good stuff. You can get pretty creative with it if you decide to make it yourself," he said. "I'd rather just go to a restaurant though because I'm lazy. And you get free chips and salsa at some places. Okay, I've wasted enough of your eating time. Eat up!"

Half the fun is pronouncing the words. Fajita! Gordita! Tamalllllllle!

Ned grabbed a burrito and a fajita to start with and sat down to start eating. He hoped he didn't get heartburn. That would stink.

Viki didn't bother really learning the names of things, but just picked something at random, and set to.

Mmmm.

Nachos, enchiladas, burritos... It's amazing that Peyton was still able to fit into her clothes after this class.

"Mmmmmm. Don't know what it is about tamales, but I love 'em!"

Dean grabbed a random selection of the available and sat down to eat. He wasn't in his usual happy mood, but that had more to do with the fight, if you could call it that, with Sammy last night than with the Mexican deliciousness being offered.

Sam liked Mexican food, so he took a little bit of almost everything that was offered. When his plate was full, he looked around and caught sight of Dean and, even though their argument was fresh in his mind, he decided to take a chance and walked over to him. "Hey. Can I join you?"

"Yeah," Dean said, a little grudgingly. "Knock yourself out."

Sam took a seat and quietly started separating his food into different spots on the plate. "I'm sorry about last night. I shouldn't have argued with you while we were on the air."

"Yeah, you shouldn't've," Dean agreed. "I don't get why you're so pissed off anyways. I mean you're acting like I slept with your boyfriend or something."

"You think I'm jealous?" Sam asked. "Did it ever occur to you that maybe I'm pissed off because I can't figure out why you did it?" Leaning in closer, Sam lowered his voice. "Did Chuck blackmail you into sleeping with him?"

"What? No!" Dean said. "What the hell could he blackmail me with anyway?"

Sam knew exactly what Chuck could have used, but he didn't want to let Dean know that the idea was even in Chuck's head. "I don't know. My first conclusion just wasn't that you went into this because you wanted to. I thought you hated Chuck?"

"I do," Dean said.

"But you slept with him anyway," Sam asked, looking confused.

"Yeah," Dean said, looking down at his food and fidgeting. "It just... happened, okay? Haven't you ever heard of angry sex?"

"Well, yeah, but I didn't think people actually did it," Sam replied. "You--you're okay, right?"

"You mean aside from having to deal with a brother who's all pissy because I had a truly stupid one night stand?" Dean asked.

"I'm sorry you think my concern is annoying," Sam said, unable to keep from glaring a little.

Hurley was really happy with today's class. Mmmm.

Summer decided she was really in the mood for empanadas, quesadillas, and nachos. So she was pretty happy with this class.

Marco was in a very, very happy place and surrounded by a few plates of food.

Mac was a SoCal girl born and raised, and her parents had always been of the opinion that Mexican food was the way to eat, so this was an easy, easy class for her.

She snagged a tortilla and quesadilla to start her off.

Molly snagged some nachos and part of a chicken quesadilla and decided, once again, that this class won for best breakfast food.

"Taquitos!" Harry just felt the need to say the word. "And...everything else. I can never go on to higher education. Academics will just be a huge letdown."
