Flight Club [Flight Shed]

There were, of course, snacks and drinks set up for the members of the club today. Gavin would never fall down on that duty even if today's club was going to be a little...sillier than previous meetings.

"Hey guys, welcome back," he said, nodding at them all. "Today, we're going to be doing something a little different. Usually, we get into the flight sim, do some scenarios and that's that. We're not going to be in the flight sim today. Nope, today, we're going to be making paper airplanes."

Yes, that's right. There were reams of paper on the table next to the snacks and drinks.

"You guys might be the best pilots in the galaxy but I bet you never think about things like this, how to make a ship aerodynamic, what to fold, bend, and tear to make sure your plan flies the fastest and furthest. Sure, they're just paper but you never know when something might apply to real world flying."

Yes, paper airplanes.

"Go to it!"

Anakin would not like to discuss how long it took him to get back to the island, no.

That was one sulky kitty in a corner.

John went over to the corner. "Aww, who's the cutest Jedi kitty?" he cooed. "Yeah, probably still Jaina, shh, we won't remind her how she got trapped in a hamper."

Anakin hated everything. He hissed and swiped his weetiny claws at John.

Oooh. Ferocious.

There was no way John could not laugh at the adorableness of the swatting kitty. "Now, now, you came all the way to campus. The least we could do is build you a paper plane to help fly you home."

Anakin sulked. Yes, kitties can totally sulk. At least make it a cool paper airplane.

Oooh! Or a paper Super Star Destroyer?

The look on his wee kitty face was enough to make John grab a stack of papers and start folding. "We'll hook you up with something massive and awesome. Don't worry."

And then he got to work.

Anakin gave him a wee kitty glare. It had better be awesome. He wasn't above using his kitty claws to rip it to shreds.

Hmmm. He might do it anyway. Ha!

Momoko couldn't help it and finally pulled herself away from the paper airplanes to approach the poor sulky kitty.

"Oh my gosh, you are so cute! I'm sorry, because I know you're really a human Professor but you look all sad and like you're pouting and just totally huggable right now, which is a really weird and scary thing to say about a teacher, but can I at least scratch your ears?"

Anakin, even as a kitty, looked absolutely horrified at the prospect.

It didn't mean he'd gotten out of they way fast enough to avoid any skritching, though.

Which is how Momoko's hand could be already skritching his cute little head, especially that area at the base of the ear. "Ah! Soft kitty ears!" If he inclined his head a bit at all? She was so going for the under-the-chin attack.

He totally inclined his head. And hated himself for it.

Yay! At that small sign of 'acceptance', Momoko's fingers skritched a quick path down and under his chin. She was hoping for that relaxed eye-roll thing cats sometimes did, but willing to settle for not-being scratched or bit. "Ah, such a cute kitty!"

Anakin wasn't a cute kitty. He was a ferocious, mean, warrior kitty! Mmm, that felt good.

So any sounds that may start coming from said kitty were ferocious, mean, warrior kitty growls and not at all to be inferred otherwise, yes?

Momoko continued with the skritches, trying to resist the urge to scoop him up. He was a teacher, after all, and that would just be wrong, right?

Very, very wrong indeed. Unless it meant he got more skritches.

...not that he liked them, being a ferocious kitty.

Oh, there were plenty more skritches for the ferocious warrior kitty, yes there were!

Okay, no. He was just too cute, looking all mean and sulky like that even when getting skritches. Momoko scooted just a bit closer, trying not to scare him, and moved her hand back to slow ear rubs. She was sure she was going to regret this (did the island maybe transform people into declawed kitties?) but if he just held still a moment longer he was going to be picked up and hugged.

As long as she recognized that he was completely badass and not enjoying this at all.

Oooh. A little to the right.

His expressions were so cute! And his fur was so soft! She couldn't take it anymore! Momoko leaned over to scoop her normally completely badass club advisor into a one-armed hug, accompanied by a serious attack of rubs and skritches to the side of his chin with her free hand.

"Sooooo cute! Rrrrr. Yes, you are! Oooh. Mean sulky kitty, grrrr!"

Force help him, he purred.
