Ethics [Tuesday, March 24]

"Good morning, everyone. Have a seat," Zayne said. All of the desks had been pushed against the wall, so there was plenty of room on the floor to sit down, just like Zaye was doing. "Master Skywalker isn't here today so I'll be your instructor. Today we talk about sloth. It's a trait where someone feels disinclined to perform work or expend effort. Or more simply, it's a case of extreme laziness. When you live a slothful life, not only don't you accomplish much of anything, but you waste your talents. I'm not a great fighter and I still have a lot to learn about the Force in my training, but I've always been pretty good with people and I'm a good at piloting a swoop bike. I could have given up early on when people first started criticizing my Jedi abilities. But in large part thanks to accepting what I'm good at and giving an effort towards improving what I'm bad at, I still have a chance to reach my dream of becoming a Jedi Knight."

"So, with that in mind, we're going to look at sloth from two directions today. Partner up and tell someone what talents you use here in Fandom towards some goal, even if the goal is just meeting people or improving your cooking or something. And then once you've shared, you can come to me to get a pillow and blanket and take a refreshing nap for the rest of the period, just like a good sloth would."

[OOC: Standard daytime availability from me. Which is to say, none. I'll be around this evening.]

"Partners?" she suggested.

Helen nodded. "I'd like that," she admitted.
