Phys Ed: Week 10, Period 1 (Fri. 3/20)

"Football," Ronon announced once students had arrived in the gym, tossing a ball between his hands, "is some great legendary game on Earth. People sing tributes to it and collect videos of important games. They also wear full body armor to protect from death by leather. I still say Earth is weird."

"The computer said I should call it American Football since we're playin' with our hands, not our feet. Also, the ball's not round. Helps it get better lift and speed." Ronon went on to demonstrate how to properly throw and catch a football.

He gestured to the bins of footballs and gear. "Get your uniform, a ball, and practice throwing the ball to a partner."

Reno wasn't terribly impressed by football himself. He'd shown up to class and all, but catching required hands, or a willingness to put school equipment into his mouth, and he was currently blessed with neither.

And so, with a sign tied around his neck proclaiming that he was Reno, he could understand people, and that he'd kill anyone making cracks about fried chicken, he approached Ronon.

And he said, "Wark."

Ronon raised an eyebrow at the bird thing and managed to catch a glimpse of the sign. "Guess football's gonna be hard for you."

That observation earned a nod of the head. Yep. It was hard to throw a football this way. He'd be awesome at tackles and running, but other than that, he was kind of hooped.

He quirked his head sideways, not quite certain if there was some sort of activity that a chocobo could partake in during this class. He'd run laps if he had to. Reno was damn good at running laps.
