"Thanks." At the thought of Parker's lollipops, Beka plucked a smoke from the case, and held out a hand for the lighter. "Quitting's overrated.

"Pictures. All good pranks need documentation for blackmail or additional mischief. Seems like something we might want for the gossip column, too."

D handed over the lighter with a wry grin, "something like that."

Flicking the ash from her cig into her empty coffee cup, she comes to a decision. She doesn't look away from her cup, "When and where?" Then she takes another drag, careful that her smoke doesn't bother anyone.

Beka lit the cig and took a slow drag. "Damn. Definitely overrated."

Over the glowing tip, she studies D'Anna. She doesn't know the girl well, but she's seen her to be incisive, smart, and cautious. Useful things in a co-conspirator. "We're still working that out. Probably tomorrow night. You have voicemail?"

D'anna inclined her head in a quick nod and put the lighter back into her rucksack. "Yeah (http://www.livejournal.com/users/dbiers/946.html), let me know," she finished a drag and slid off the desktop she'd been sitting on. She handed off the ash-cup to Beka and slung her rucksack over a shoulder, "I've got some homework to work on. See y'round, Valentine." And with that, she was out the door.

[ooc: I'm heading out for a bit.]
