Charlie nodded again. "I have, uh, open door thing during the day time, but I should be free after five. My voicemail is working if he wants to leave a message. If I'm in, I mean." He wasn't entirely sure what the policy here was regarding teachers playing poker with their students and cleaning them out, but he was lonely, and Angelus, at least, had been both nice and intelligent thus far.

Surely it couldn't hurt?

"I'll pass on the good word," Angelus said. Then, with a coy smile and tone of voice that clearly indicated he didn't care about getting a truthful answer, asked, "Do you? Count cards?"

Charlie would so be getting a spanking if Don was here. And, uh, thought about his brother in that way. Which he so does not. At all.
