Math; Wednesday, First Period [09/01].

Well, Rosa had already had a bit of a morning. Things at the bar must have gone a little harder than she expected, considering she'd woken up that morning with some quiet guy obsessed with leather who didn't even speak Spansih instead of, you know, her wife, because that was a thing, her being married, so now, in addition to having to figure out what to do about that, she had to teach a math class.

In a school that had people from places that might not even have numbers.

So there she was, in front of her class, the green scales on her skin emitting their soft golden glow like they always had, and she sighed, her forked tongue flicking out over her lips a moment before getting everything started.

"Right," she began, "math class. Which is a class I'm not sure this school has literally ever had, but we're apparently going to teach it. But, since everyone here is probably coming from a lot of different places, I figured the best way to start is going to be with this..."

She held up a stack of paper, grinning faintly, and the sadism in that seemed to make her scales glow a little brighter.

"An assessment test. Obviously, this is not going to count toward a grade or anything, it's just to see where everyone is at so I have an idea of what the hell I'm even teaching. So it'll start with basic principles, get incresingly more complex and involved as you go on, try to answer what you can, if you have no idea, then I guess that gives me an idea of what I'm teaching you.

"And then we'll go over some basics," she said. "Because if you walk away with anything in this class, it should at least be how to count and add and subtract.

"Alright," a glowing, scaly hand sporting a shining wedding ring went out to pass over the stack of tests to the nearest student, "take one, pass it around, and we'll get started."

The Modern World & You, Wednesday Second Period

"Well!" Yennefer said as she looked out over the eager sea of...three students. "Another semester has begun. Where does the time go?" No, really. She was pretty sure she'd skipped a couple of weeks somehow.

Jaskier, meanwhile, was watching her with a thoughtful look. "Well, you know how it is," he said in a terrible, just terrible Boston accent.

Look, you could all blame Kitty for this.

Yennefer stared at him for a moment, then said to the students, "If you're here to learn about getting along in this reality versus whatever mudhole you're from--" she was from a mudhole, she could say that--"you're in the right place. We are your instructors: I am Yennefer of Vengerburg, and this is...Jaskier." Ugh.

"Do you..." Jaskier, no. "Do you want to kiss me?"

"What is wrong with you?" Yennefer hissed out of the corner of her mouth. "Besides the usual."

"Well, the audience would like to know," Jaskier insisted. Wait until he did that talking head interview. "Be cool, Yennifer. This is my big break."

Bards. Honestly. Maybe if she just ignored him and acted like he was behaving normally (for once)? "This week," Yennefer told the students, "we are going to talk about something amazing this world has: vaccines!"

Jaskier went to go sit to address the camera for his talking head interview here. "I didn't really want to kiss her. I just wanted to know if she wanted to kiss me. It makes you think. Like vaccines make you think, you know?"

She was going to kill him. But after class. "For those of you who are unfamiliar, here's how it works: you go to the clinic and they poke you with a needle containing an agent against a malevolent entity known as a 'germ,' and then, and this is the incredible part, you don't die of the pox. You should try it."

Introduction to Engineering - Wednesday, 3rd Period

Goose showed up to his first engineering class, still without wearing shoes and still unaware of any noticeable changes, “Uh, er …………….hello.” he began, nodding to his students and apparently not noticing his sudden fondness of dramatic pauses in his sentences, “my name is ………………Shane Gooseman.” he revealed, “Most people call me ………………..Goose.” this was going to take a while. “I used to be a …………..student here. Class of ………………2014.”

“I’m from the year ……………………..2106 and I’m based in West Australia.” he went on, “I’m here on ………………..temporary reassignment. I am normally ……………………. assigned to the Series 5 Galaxy Rangers team back home. My speciality is ……………machinery and fixing machines. Hence ……………this class.” he waved around the room to indicate the class.

“This is ……………… Introduction To Engineering and I’ll be your teacher this semester.” that part was kind of obvious, “When I ………………..was a student is was common for the first week to be introductions. So I’d like …………….to know your name, what year it for you at home and what experience you have with engineering.”
